Forged

A forging is a workpiece or blank obtained by forging and deforming a metal blank. The mechanical properties of metal billet can be changed by applying pressure to make it deformed. According to the temperature of the blank during processing, the forging can be divided into cold forging and hot forging. Cold forging is usually done at room temperature, while hot forging is done at a higher recrystallization temperature than the metal billet. [1-2]
